Academic interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain continues to grow across the board, according to Coinbase research.

A study of the educational programs of 50 leading universities in the world showed that 56% of universities offer at least one discipline related to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Since last year, this figure has increased by a third, from 42%.

The Coinbase team also conducted a survey among students. Of the 735 respondents, 34% said they want to study these disciplines, and 18% have already included them in their curriculum.
