Buterin proposes a solution to anonymize Ethereum transactions

Vitalik Buterin proposes to integrate a transaction mixer into the Ethereum blockchain to increase the level of network privacy.

The platform founder’s decision provides for the creation of two smart contracts on Ethereum. The first acts as a mixer that mixes and obfuscates user addresses, and the second is a register of repeaters. The minimalistic design of the tool will make it easy to add a new function to crypto wallets.

The idea is that users wishing to commit private translation, can enter the account in the mixing register. To do this, you can use an existing one or create a new account without tying it to the main address with assets. After sending the transaction funds go to a deposit, where they accumulate some time to increase the degree of anonymity (it is proportional to the number of senders). After the confirmation is generated, the assets are shuffled and sent to recipients.

Although the mixer should become an alternative option for one-time shipments, the cost of registering a new address in the register will cost 2 million gas. However, it can be used in other applications..

Ethereum is maturing not only technically, but economically as well. We previously reported that US Commodity Futures Trading Commission  ready to approve the launch of futures contracts on ETH.
